The project aimes to create creative teaching materials for those who promote the integration of persons with disabilities into modern society, those who help them to re-establish broken ties with society, to ensure their inclusion in such basic life spheres as work, home and leisure.
People with disabilities must be enabled to participate in society and have equal rights with all. The social inclusion policy for people with disabilities is purposefully shifting from the support and abilities of the disabled themselves. In the 21st century, the acceptance of disabilities needs to be promoted among teaching, and professional staff, and accessibility guidelines need to be developed according to the needs of trainees based on their real-life experiences. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development clearly states that disability cannot be a reason or criteria for lack of access to development programming and the realisation of human rights. Adult trainers can help the disabled increase their competencies. Still, they do not have enough capacity what methods used for disabled education. Disability is very different: movement, sight, hearing, mind, etc. Teachers need to know and can apply different methods when working with other disabled adults. This partnership was created to support adult trainers with new digital, interactive and creative teaching methods in working with the disabled, and also will help increase disabled adults' social inclusion and prepare them for a digitalised society.
